Colds&Dreamlife

In between tossing and turning, sniffling and coughing, I had a dream that I was a matchmaker who spoke German:

“Ihr wollt ein Paar werden, nicht?”

“Sie liebt ihn, und er liebt sie!”

Not Paying Attention by Walmazan and Nathan W. Pyle

Clearly, this teacher is mistaken.
“I can haz.” is the correct kitty-cat conjugation of this verb.

nur-ein-anderer-blog:

Heute haben wir ein sehr hübsches Video gesehen: Es geht um die Unterschiede zwischen Italien und Deutschland. Ich bin Italienerin und kann sagen, dass das Video Recht hat lol. Unglücklicherweise sind wir ganz anders als die Deutschen und ich denke, dass wir uns verbessern sollten.

Me:

I feel like my “Italian” and “German” personalities are constantly battling within me! The original poster feels like she needs to “improve” to become more like the Germans—orderly, disciplined, linear. Personally, I would vouch for the opposite. In the context of the painting, for example, my first reaction to my surroundings is often critique, but instead I would like it to be worship. I would like to “improve” to become more like the Italians.
